Hooky well played

I have a little more flexibility in my current situation, so I used that to my advantage for some Friday afternoon hiking, free of the weekend crowds.

More aspens

After yesterday’s four-peak day, I scaled back a little and picked up a couple peaks south of Rollinsville in Gilpin County.  The peaks were heavily forested so the views weren’t as expansive, but there were patches of aspen color.
